Thrift Riot Fashion Show at Wicker Park Fest is where fashion breaks the rules. Forget fast fashion, this runway is built on vintage gems, thrift-store scores, upcycled masterpieces, and one-of-a-kind finds!

Home to more than 20 vintage, resale, and thrift boutiques, Wicker Park Bucktown is Chicago's ultimate shopping mecca for collectors, designers, vintage lovers, and style hunters. It's a neighborhood where fashion gets a second life, individuality comes first, and the best finds are the ones with a story.

Expect fearless runway looks built from authentic vintage, secondhand, reworked, and sustainably sourced pieces. Every outfit has a history. Every look makes a statement. This is Chicago's creative underground on full display, raw, expressive, unapologetically original, and rewriting the rules of fashion one recycled piece at a time.

Bodega Vintage | 1284 N Milwaukee Ave

Bodega Vintage is a funky, eclectic mash-up, made of the welcoming atmosphere of a hip, lounging coffee shop, a record store, with a vintage showroom vibe, providing a refreshing retail experience in the Wicker park area. Our shop will have a series of permanent & rotating vendors, so there will always be new things to shop and opportunities for small sellers from vintage clothing vendors vintage non-clothing vendors as home goods, jewelry, accessories, etc.

The Pear House | 1520 N Milwaukee Ave

The Pear House is a sister-owned boutique new to Wicker Park this year, offering a thoughtfully selected collection of women's clothing, accessories, beauty products, and home goods with a focus on slow fashion and sustainability. Showcasing ethically made brands, timeless wardrobe staples, and distinctive statement pieces, the shop encourages mindful shopping and lasting style.

A combination of  three sustainable US-based brands! Two brands are from LA, California: the Buttercup tank is all organic cotton covered by a deadstock silk poncho from Campbell & Kramer. The shorts are from Sonderhaus, based in Utah. They love to use natural fibers. 

From New York, Find Me Now the Label has designed this entire outfit using deadstock materials. The Pear House loves to layer! Turquoise, yellow and polka dots are always a fun combo!  

This model is wearing a combination of two of The Pear House's favorite brands! The top was made by a pair of sisters in Spain using a single thread. And the skirt is a mirrored mesh piece made in Australia with all natural fibers! 

This gorgeous kaftan, directly from a watercolor painting by Romualda's creative director. Romualda's pieces are inspired by artistry and their love for nature!

1960s Space-Age Meets High-Society Glamour
A tailored, sleeveless longline tunic with double front slits paired with fluid, high-shimmer wide-leg trousers.
Rich woven gold-and-champagne metallic brocade featuring a bold organic pebble pattern, complemented by metallic lurex pants for maximum movement and luster.
Anchored with high-contrast noir accessories—a sleek black pillbox-inspired headpiece, a dark sculptural accent brooch, and textured black open-toe pumps for a sharp, mid-century finish.
1970s Gilded Glamour Meets High-Textural Artisanship
