The weekend will feature the festival’s stellar indie music line-up of 50+ emerging local and nationally recognized artists performing original music, 200+ participating small businesses, installations by local artists, a Pet Fest, kid-friendly spaces, a wide range of local food vendors and more. Wicker Park Fest celebrates the eclectic neighborhood’s lively musical heritage, unique businesses and top-notch restaurants.

As Chicago's most anticipated summer street festival, Wicker Park Fest celebrates the neighborhood’s rich musical heritage, vibrant nightlife and top-notch restaurants across three days. Alongside its stellar 50+ original music performances, the fest features a variety of arts and culture initiatives, including art installations and international dance performances, along with a wide range of local food options from acclaimed restaurants and cafes, and more than 150 brick & mortar shops, including bookstores and vintage sellers.
A $10 entry donation is encouraged
Donations help support the nonprofit Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and offset the rising costs of producing this three-day street festival featuring original talent.
Across Chicago, nonprofit festivals are facing a troubling trend of soaring expenses and declining gate donations. In response to nonprofit fests across the city at risk for closures due to rising costs and low donations, the WPBCC Executive Director Pamela Maass has formed the Save Our Street Fests Coalition. Wicker Park Fest first launched in 2004, quickly establishing itself as an incubator for emerging, breakthrough talent, with past performers soaring in their careers and many moving on to perform at Pitchfork, Riot Fest, Coachella, Lollapalooza and more.
Past performers include Grammy-nominated electronic music duo ODESZA, Amyl & The Sniffers, who swept the 2025 ARIA Awards and are playing The Salt Shed this summer, Lo-fi, DIY indie rock artist Alex G, who toured with the Foo Fighters, Grammy-nominated ALVVAYS, and Swedish post-punk band Viagra Boys.
