Weekend Arts Guide (7/5-7/8 2018)

Summer is in full swing and things are heating up this month is Wicker Park and Bucktown! Check out these hot art exhibits, shows, and happenings around the neighborhood with the help of our WPB Weekend Arts Guide!

Thursday evening, No Nation Art Gallery and Tangential Unspace Lab will host To All The Good Times We've Had & All The Good Times to Come from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Friday is of course First Friday at the Flat Iron Arts Building! Flat Iron Arts will hold their open studios event from 6:00pm to 10:00pm with additional programming from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at The Hall at The Robey. AdventureLand Works on Paper will also hold an opening reception for their new show Pictures From The Long Haul by Michael Gaylord James from 7:00pm to 10:00pm Friday evening.

Saturday sees Andrea Kaspryk: Carrying Burdens and Tracy Kostenbader: Eating Words come to a close at Agitator Gallery with an artist talk scheduled from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Later that evening, Gallery Cafe will have an opening reception for the Sam Lynn Art Show from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Volumes Bookcafe will have a book launch for The Calculating Stars from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Sunday is a fairly busy day in the neighborhood with the farmers market and several shows coming to a close. The Wicker Park Farmers Market will be open from 8:00am to 2:00pm with performances by This is the Hammer from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Firefly Fiber Arts Studio will have their weekly Arc Reactor Shawl Knit Along workshop from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Nostalgic Perspectives by Aaron Wooten comes to a close at Jackson Junge Gallery and Moments in Between comes to a close at LVL3 Gallery. Be sure you don't miss out on these exhibitions!
