Wrap up your year with some exceptional local artwork and stopping by some happenings and events. We've got all you need to know, right here in our final Weekend Arts Guide of 2018!
Tim Anderson: Stamps
Since 1982, Tim Anderson has made images of postage stamps that would never be printed. His infatuation with stamps as pieces of art started in childhood. It went along with making handmade postcards. The possibilities were exciting, partly because of the prospect of communicating with people in foreign lands. These paintings are examples of this fascination.

LVL3 is proud to present messy universe, a two-person show featuring Adam Milner and Erin Washington. Milner meticulously creates intimate collections as reflections of daily life, routine and personal relationships; his archival process reveal objects as active subjects. Washington’s process of mark making and materiality, symbolic to permanence and histories, demands an active presence which highlights disharmony and failures in search of meaning. messy universe investigates the artists’ processes of collecting and uncovering in order to find meaning in the things that are right in front of us.

I can't even
I can't even is an online exhibition made up of work from seven artists touching on the characteristics of the Internet in varying degrees, providing new modes of thinking for the new media and the contemporary Internet language.
Within the current social and political climate we’re found looking backward as a way to find answers for today's problems in America. Oh, Maker explores the work of seven artists who through the act of re-appropriating materials are looking at that history of trauma on American Soil, the act of rebellion, as well the narrative of black women, and families. These artists are building on these conversations in their work. Using mix materials, visual language, and archives as a starting source to re-appropriate materials used to aid conversations about America today. Artists inclkude Kevin Demery, Andrea Coleman, Mark Allen Blanchard, Shanna Merola, Zakkiyyah Najeebah, Sadie Woods, and Michael Curtis Asbil.
